As at January 2003, I have become a professional DJ in a Sydney club.  This came about as a by-product of my being hired to run the club's karaoke show and as part of that show, I was expected to play 2 hours of dance music each Friday night. I did not know if I could do this and the management said I would be replaced after 3 weeks if I wasn't up to standard.

That was 3 years ago now and I was the resident DJ at that club for 2 years before the club was forced to close due to licensing issues.

Whilst the karaoke show was successful in it's own right, the DJ'ing side of things took on a life all of it's own and has since taken me places I could never have dared to dream about.

I feel incredibly blessed (for want of a better word) and humbled to have played at the gigs I've played, and to have met the wonderful people I have met and worked with. If I had a wish list of people I wanted to work with, it could never have come close to the amazing individuals I've been priviledged to meet so far.  I've included links to the pages of some of the amazing people I have met, on the links page.

I've now played at some of the premier gay clubs in Australia, I've played overseas and interstate, I've done huge parties and small private gigs.

Without question this is more than a job to me. Dj'ing has changed my life in so many ways, not least of all giving me a confidence I never thought I could find within myself. It has opened so many doors and taken my life in such unexpected directions. I can't wait to see where it goes from here.
